ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಟೆಕ್ಸಾಸ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹ್ಯೂಸ್ಟನ್ ಮಹಾನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಚಲಿಸುವ ಮನೆ 

ಉಡುಪಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಠದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಶಾಖೆಯು ಹ್ಯೂಸ್ಟನ್ ಮಹಾನಗರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಭಕ್ತರ ಸಹಯೋಗ ದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಶ್ರೀಮಠವು ಅರ್ಚಕರ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು 1.50 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಖರೀದಿಸಿದ ಚಲಿಸುವ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಪುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಠದ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಗುಣೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರು ಇಂದು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಐದು ಪ್ರಕೋಷ್ಠಗಳು, ಅಡುಗೆಮನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಾವಡಿ ಇರುವ ಬೃಹತ್ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಐದು ಎಕರೆ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬೃಂದಾವನ ದೇಗುಲದ ಬಳಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.  ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹ್ಯೂಸ್ಟನ್ ಮಹಾನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇಗುಲದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿದ್ದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಚಕ ರಘು ರಾಮ ಭಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಭಕ್ತರು ಈ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನೂತನ ಮಂದಿರದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ನಂತರ ಈ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನ: ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀಪುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಠದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಆಚಾರ್ಯರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

His Holiness Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Puthige Mutt, Udupi, today dedicated to the Lord a mobile dwelling unit in Houston, Texas, where the fourth branch of the Mutt in United States of America is located. Built at a cost of Rs. 1.50 crore with the aid of local devotees, the unit will be used by archakas of the mutt. It has five rooms, a kitchen and a verandah. It has been stationed near the 5-acre Sri Krishna Brindavana Temple.

The unit will be utilised by archaka Raghuram Bhat and other staff members who, along with devotees, are involved in the task of building a big Krishna temple in Houston under the guidance of Puthige Swamiji. Once the big temple is built, the mobile dwelling unit will be moved elsewhere where it is needed, said Prasanna Achar, Manager, Puthige Mutt.
