Professor and HOD of Internal Medicine, KMC Manipal (MAHE) and Medical Superintendent of Dr. TMA Pai Hospital, Udupi, Dr. Shashi kiran Umakanth has been chosen for the prestigious Alevoor Group Award instituted by Alevoor Group for Education, Alevoor.
Dr. Shashikiran was the Nodal Officer of the Dedicated Covid– 19 Hospital of Udupi district and his services during the Covid – 19 pandemic have been widely appreciated.
Mr. N. M. Hegde, Past District Governor, Lions District 317 C, will present Alevoor Group Award including a silver plaque during the annual day celebrations of Shanthiniketan English Medium School, to be held on December 23, Friday, at 2.30 pm.
Senior Journalist Mr. U. K. Kumarnath will be the guest of honour. President of Alevoor Group for Education A. Ganapathi Kini will preside over the programme.
