Indian Civil Engineers are at pioneering – Prof Wim Van Den Bergh University of Antwerpen Belgium

In today’s world scenario Indian civil engineers are at cutting edge and undertaking enormously incredible buildings and infra structures, hence a new era of civil engineering is at flow.

Students and researchers should go with sustainable development goals to make this earth a safest place for habitat to endure were the words of appreciation from Prof. Wim Van Den Bergh, Professor from University of Antwerpen Belgium.

He was talking to civil engineering students and researchers at the inaugural ceremony of the International Conference on New Horizons in Civil Engineering organized by Dept. of Civil Engineering Manipal Institute of Technology MAHE Manipal.

MAHE Pro Vice Chancellor, Tech & Science, Dr Narayana Sabhahit was the chief guest, informed students to explore and bring new initiative in the field of science and technology and congratulated the organizers for bringing academia and industry together for a new horizon and ingenuity.

Dr Anil Rana Director MIT Manipal insured student and researchers to work on new materials and to generate a novel prospect in civil engineering.

Worlds revenue depends on infrastructures and development, hence there is no space for recession or downfall for core civil engineering, only there should be a new-fangled perceptions and modernizations in our requirements.

Fascinated researches and academicians to bring break the ice with a justifiable and workable thoughts in making this earth more suitable for development. Dr Purushotham G Sarvade Head, Dept of Civil Engineering gave an opening remark and welcomed the gathering. Conference Convener, Dr Sandesh Upadhyaya delivered a crisp about the conference objective and motto and Dr Jagadeesh Pai delivered vote of thanks.

Dr Sugandini Kudva and Dr Chitra M anchored the ceremony and rendered invocation. Around 12O research deliberation was Presented which will be published in National and International Journals.
