Manipal School of Architecture and Planning’s Curriculum Conclave

Manipal: The Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP), a premier part of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), recently hosted a significant Curriculum Conclave. This event aimed to gather crucial feedback from a wide range of experts in fields such as Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Sustainable Design. This aligns with MSAP’s commitment to developing an education framework that meets regulatory standards and adapts to modern trends in the dynamic world of design.

The curriculum development at MSAP considers the latest updates from the New Education Policy (NEP) and the National Credit Framework policies, ensuring a rich and comprehensive educational experience for students.

Dr. Nandineni Rama Devi, Director of MSAP, warmly welcomed participants to the conclave. The inaugural session was honored by Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Pro- Vice Chancellor (Technology & Science) of MAHE, who shared insights on enhancing the connection between academia and industry in education.

He emphasized the importance of quality faculty, curriculum, and infrastructure in delivering top-notch education. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Pradeep Kini, Joint Director of MSAP.
The conclave’s final session reviewed the syllabus, content, and regulations for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at MSAP. Dr. Vinod V Thomas, Registrar Evaluation at MAHE, and Dr. Preetham Kumar, Deputy Registrar- Academics (Technical) at MAHE, graced the valedictory function.

Key discussions throughout the event focused on new curriculums for all programs to enhance the quality of education at MSAP. The positive feedback from experts across various design fields highlights the success of the conclave. This initiative is a step towards improving the quality of education at MSAP and supporting the wider community.
