“Manipal is a republic on its own,” says Mr. Harish Bijoor, Brand Guru and Founder of Harish Bijoor and Consults.Inc. Mr. Bijoor discusses new communication methods while congratulating MIC on its 25th anniversary. He considers how the students can branch out into new areas. Mr. Bijoor also discusses how rapid technological advancements have created a communication chasm.

His post-pandemic research reveals how people in today’s world consume brands in massive quantities. And, as a communication student, you should be aware of everything around you. He communicates to the students through his presentation how effective advertising as a communication medium is by using brands such as Myntra and Tanishq.

Focusing on the startup culture, he discusses the transition from private to public sectors, as well as the rise of elitism in schools and medical facilities.

Furthermore, he discusses branding and Manipal Institute of Communication as a brand and thought, name, and symbol in people’s minds. “

“Balancing the act for students between the creative and commercial is very important,” Mr. Bijoor tells the students.
