‘Vishikhanupravesha’ – Graduation Ceremony 2022 was held on 30.09.2022 at Bhavaprakasha Auditorium of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda, Udupi. Dr. Mamatha K.V., Principal welcomed the gathering and mentioned that S.D.M. College of Ayurveda, Udupi is the only campus which has college, hospital, research Centre and medicine manufacturing unit in one campus which is a great boon for Ayurveda students.
Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade, Chancellor, Sri Dharmasathala Manjunatheshwara University, Dharwad, congratulated the graduates for their achievements in brining laurels to the college in University exams through virtual platform. Dr.Raghuram Bhatta U., President Medical Assessment & Rating Board for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi, presided the function and told the importance of Svaadhyayana, Shastraabhyasa & Karmaabhyasa. He stressed upon the benefit of learning and speaking in Sanskrit language so that the students can understand the Ayurveda Granthas in a higher level and also in future author texts on their own to enlighten the principles of Ayurveda. Chief guest Dr. S.K. Joshi, Pro vice-chancellor Sri Dharmasathala Manjunatheshwara University, Dharwad, congratulated the graduates, advised them to be proud of being Ayurveda doctors and stressed on the role of scholars in promoting Ayurveda. Dr.Jagadeesh Kunjal, Principal, S.D.M. Institute of Ayurveda & Hospital, Bangalore was present as Guest.
On behalf of Alumni association of SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi, Dr. Shubha S. Bhat was awarded with gold medal for her academic excellence. Dr.Niranjan Rao, Dean, PG Studies administered oath to 71 graduates and 31 Post-graduates and wished them success in their future endeavour.
Dr.Mamatha K V, Principal, SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi, welcomed the gathering. Dr Veera Kumara K, Dean, Student Affairs and Dr.SuchethaKumari, Associate Dean, PG and PhD Studies invited the scholars to receive their graduation certificates. Dr. Deepak S.M., Deputy Medical Superintendent, S.D.M. Ayurveda Hospital, Udupi was present in the programme. Dr. Rakesh R.N., Asso. Prof.delivered the vote of thanks. Dr.Sandesh Kumar Shetty , Asso. Professor and Dr Likhita D.N. Asso. Professor, compered the program.
