Manipal: Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Department of Pharmacy
Practice, Community Development Committee, National Service Scheme Cell, Manipal Association of Pharmaceutical Students) in association with Department of Anesthesiology, KMC, Manipal conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Program for the factory employees of Manipal Technologies Limited on 17 th March 20203.
Dr. Sushma TK, Associate Professor, Department of Anesthesiology, KMC, Manipal and a certified AHA BLS and ACLS instructor, provided first aid training on management for cardiac arrest and choking to the 25 factory employees. Ms. Pooja Gopal Poojari, Research Scholar from Department of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS welcomed the group. Ms. Vidya Gomes, Manager -, Human Resource, Manipal Technologies Limited presented a memento to Dr Sushma as a token of appreciation.
