Balakrishna Srinivas Maddodi, son of Byndoor resident Maddodi Mane Sri. Srinivas Maddodi and Leelavathi, who has been declared qualified for the award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering by the MANIPAL ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION, MANIPAL. He worked on the topic – “Geoinformatics and Geoevaluation studies of the Udyavara river basin – south west coast of India”, under the supervision of Dr H N Udayashankar, Professor, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. He is old student of Mangalore University.
