Australian minister attends Puthige Shri Guru Vandana

Today during the Guru Vandana function a special guest on behalf of the Victorian government Mr Steve Dimopolous MP Minister for Sports and tourism attended.
Mr Steve Dimopolous has a close relationship with our temple having inaugurated our temple back in 2015

Swamiji during his pravechena discussed the benefits of spirituality and practice of religion. He commended the Australian and Victorian governments on their ongoing support for multi-faith communities and inclusiveness.
Swamiji also elaborated on the Bhagavad Gita and reiterated the message of world peace.
Swamiji also unveiled the grand undertaking of the Koti Gita Lekhana Yagna in which 10 million people will write Bhagavad Gita by hand and offer it to the Udupi Krishna temple during the 4th pariyaya next year.
Swamiji cordially invited Mr Steve Dimopolous to visit Udupi Krishna temple next year as an Australian representative during his pariyaya and receive the blessings of Krishna.

Mr Steve Dimopolous MP was very pleased with the messages spoken by Swamiji and the messages of the Bhagavad Gita. He particularly resonated with the teachings of letting go of stress and maintaining inner as well as world peace.
